CELL PHONE / REMOTE VOTING IN THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION: [BACKGROUND: Efforts are being undertaken to permit and implement voting by cell phone in the upcoming presidential election to increase voter convenience and turnout. Experts say that current security and verification methodology is lacking.] TAKE ACTION: If it is not possible to design a system that lets people vote remotely in a secure, accessible, anonymous, convenient, and verifiable manner, should Congress prohibit such a program?
